Whenever you can look at one of my pages and think HEY, THAT LOOKS PRETTY EASY AND PROBABLY DIDN'T TAKE THAT LONG... you were wrong. My single-panel pages are probably some of the hardest to do. This was dramatically harder than the last page, which consisted of a whole collection of stupid images. That one probably took about four hours. This, now, this took something like eight. The worst part was that STUPID building and that STUPID piece of concrete under the dragon. Gah. That thing only looks simple. It's so many layers of little textures it isn't even remotely funny. The DRAGON was the easy part. Probably because I've just drawn more dragons in the last week than I've drawn in my entire life, seeing as I've drawn two previously--one for some Dragons in Our Midst fanart, and one was a doodle I never finished. Which was also yellow. I LIKE yellow dragons, okay? Maybe because most of them are red or black or green. Okay, okay, so there's lots of yellow dragons too. There's just lots of dragons, period.
